History
Fresno State has held an Integration Bee competition every year (except 2020 and 2021) since 2003.
From 2003 to 2014, the Integration Bee was open to Fresno State Students.
In 2015, Fresno State began hosting a High School Integration Bee, open to Valley high school students, in addition to the Fresno State Integration Bee. Winners of the High School Integration Bee were invited to compete in the Fresno State Integration Bee held two weeks later. The High School Bee and the Fresno State Integration Bee were held from 2015 to 2018.
Finally, in 2019, the first Central Valley Integration Bee was held, open to all Central Valley high school, community college, and 4-year college students. After a two-year hiatus, the Central Valley Integration Bee was back in 2022 and has been held every year since then.
