Department of Mathematics Events

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to engage with the members of the Mathematics Department by playing games, listening to students talk about math, and showcasing talents of all sorts.

Mathematics Day

Calculus competition for Central Valley high school, community college, and undergraduate students. Students compute integrals for prizes. Held once every spring semester.

Integration Bee

Annual day of mathematics competitions for high school and middle school students from Central California. Held in April. Trophies awarded.

This year's Math Field Day was held on Saturday, April 15, 2023.  327 students from 27 schools competed.  Congratulations to all our winners!
