Cohort 2 - Teachers who already have a master's degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education
Benefits :

Requirements:
Dates in bold in this section indicate meetings will be virtual
- Attend SJVMP’s weekend Winter Leadership Retreat (Jan 26-27, 2024)
- Attend monthly mentoring meetings with professional sharing and attend presentations
with guest speakers (Y1) - Some in person and others virtual alternatively
- Spring (tentative dates) - Feb 23, March 29, April 26,
- Fall (tentative dates) - August 23, September 27, October 25, November 29
- Attend the SJVMP Summer Leadership Institute (Y1 - June 22 - 30)
- Join professional organizations and attend at least one mathematics education conference (CMC, NCTM, AMTE, etc.)
- Meet regularly with STEM professional mentors (only in years 3-5)
- Participate in school curriculum development/coaching/professional learning (PL)/Lesson Study activities (in years 3-5).
- Bring a new teacher to the SJVMP Summer Leadership Institute (Y2-Y5)
