Enrichment Math

 

Student Workshop

Learn more about the mathematics enrichment modules based on content topics (i.e. fractions, decimals, place value, multiplication). These one day a week sessions (for eight weeks) are designed to provide systematic learning for students covering the content standards in California mathematics frameworks.

Teacher Workshop

There will be a parallel teacher workshop for teachers to learn the effective ways of systematically teaching these concepts through proven methods such as Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI) and problem-solving. Teachers will learn by observing, reflecting, discussing, planning and practice teaching these lessons.
