The Psychology Department Petitions Process
The Psychology Department's Petitions Process happens before every Fall and Spring semester, in order to help students progress toward graduation if they cannot obtain a seat in a needed class through standard registration procedures.

Below, please find the dates for the upcoming FALL 2024 semester:
- Submission period. (Fall 2024: Aug 1 2024 at 12am until Aug 8 2024 at 11:59pm Pacific Time)
- Students fill out the petition form. (NOTE: the form will not be available until the submission period begins!)
- Evaluation period (Fall 2024: Aug 9 - Jan 20)
- Committee evaluates all requests
- Notification period (Fall 2024: Begins Aug 20)
- Department emails you with a permission number
