Reaching “Success” as an undergraduate student in the College of Science and Mathematics
can be made less complicated and daunting through the guidance of an advisor under
the Advising and Resources Center (ARC). We understand for many students life can
bring about new experiences, demands, and challenges. The guidance received from an
ARC advisor will help each student address obstacles and challenges along the path
as he or she completes their undergraduate degree.
Advisors and advisees will enjoy an advising process that is continual during a student’s
undergraduate years. During this process, students will be empowered to maximize their
potential through reflection on their own interests, skills, aptitudes, and values
that will help each individual construct an academic course of action for both on-campus
and off-campus related activities.
ARC advisors are readily available to all students majoring in one of the degree programs
under the College of Science and Mathematics - listed below. Students should meet
with an ARC advisor to ensure proper selection of coursework will count toward major
requirements. Our advising team is comprehensively trained to assist students across
all CSM majors, minors, and certificate programs. Advising is not divided alphabetically
or by program.
