Finding the right support for your academic journey is essential, and we’re here to make it easy for you. To connect with the appropriate advising department for your major, please follow these simple steps:
Find Your Major: Start by selecting your college/school from the dropdown menu. This will reveal a list of majors within that college, along with detailed information about the advising department, including contact details and relevant links.
Get in Touch with an Advisor: Use the provided contact information to reach out to your academic advisor directly,
or log into Bulldog Connect to schedule an appointment with the department. Your advisor
is available to assist with course selections, educational planning, and any other
questions you may have.
Fresno State’s Learning Center is a space which encourages students to grow intellectually as critical thinkers. We advance student success by actively using effective strategies to improve content understanding and course grades. Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders and Tutors do not teach, rather facilitate students' learning of difficult topics within historically challenging courses or subjects. Students work one-on-one with Academic Coach who provides individualized support addressing unique student needs. The Learning Center aims to boldly integrate the culture and values of each student to inspire a community of life-long learners.
The Writing Center is a service provided by the university that is here to support you with reading and writing and language tasks that you engage with for your other classes.
The Fresno State Library supports the University mission of education, research and service. To this end, the Library selects, develops, manages and provides access to information resources; promotes the critical use of information for learning and research; and presents cultural and scholarly programming that serves the campus, region and beyond.

The Office of the University Registrar includes registration services for current students, student records, Undergraduate Degree Evaluations, Veterans Services Office, as well as Transfer Credit & Articulation. Our friendly staff is available virtually during regular business hours to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

The Career Development Center extends the university mission of educating and empowering Fresno State students for success. A variety of comprehensive services are offered to students, alums, employers, and our campus and community partners including career planning and development, employer engagement, experiential education, and on-campus employment.
College of Science & Mathematics Career Counselor- J. Daniel Gomez Martinez
The Technology Service Desk serves as the campus' primary support hub for Technology Services, offering initial assistance via phone, online ticketing, and walk-in support to the entire campus community. Other functions include call routing, dispatch for technology-related support requests, and support service management operations.
The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is a free food resource on Fresno State’s campus in the Industrial Technology Building Room 144. Parking is available in P20 for currently enrolled Fresno State students. Students are able to choose from a variety of healthy nutritious foods including, milk, not dairy milk, meats, vegetables, fruits, canned items and tortillas.
The Student Health and Counseling Center will be an organization that is recognized for its commitment to providing leadership for health services on campus, and contributing to the success of students and the university community by promoting lifelong healthy behaviors, and creating healthy environments.
Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) provides reasonable accommodations, auxiliary aids and services to students with disabilities, as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other applicable federal and state laws. SSD works collaboratively with students and the campus community to provide an inclusive and equitable educational environment for all students.
Student Involvement is a collection of student boards and staff that work to offer opportunities to all Fresno State students! These opportunities come in many different forms, from social mixers to involvement advising to active clubs. There's truly something for everyone!
Study Abroad Office is to facilitate international educational experiences that are academically meaningful, financially accessible, and enhance the value of a Fresno State degree. Thier programs help students develop intercultural competencies and relevant leadership skills necessary for success in our diverse Central Valley community. We also seek to contribute to the University’s internationalization efforts by supporting faculty in their teaching and research interests abroad.
Dream Success Center at Fresno State was established in 2016 with a mission to support students throughout their academic journey on campus. Their center is fully committed to assisting AB540, undocumented, DACA recipients and those with mixed immigration statuses. They strive to create an inclusive environment where all students, regardless of their immigration status, have access to the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to succeed. Fresno State's Veterans Resource Center assists veterans, reservists/guard/active duty service members and dependents to receive their educational benefits after being admitted to Fresno State. Thier website has information about the different types of VA educational programs and instructions on how to use them at Fresno State.
The Cross Cultural and Gender Center serves as a communal critical learning environment that provides support to explore topics such as intersectional identities, culture, and more. The values we uphold at CCGC include cultural humility, community inclusiveness, and community ownership.
The program is made up of volunteer peer mentors, who play a vital role in providing first-year freshmen support with college navigation and knowledge of campus resources. In addition, peer mentors help the first-year freshmen connect, both academically and socially, to the university in order to successfully reach degree completion. We are hopeful that this support will have a long-lasting influence beyond the students' experience at Fresno State.
The College of Science and Mathematics Building Opportunities through Networks of Discovery program (CSM BOND) is designed to help you make the most of your first year at Fresno State. As part of the program, you will build connections with students, faculty, and advisors, to engage in real-world experiences designed to prepare you for success at Fresno State and beyond.
CASA provides a supportive environment and resources for students interested in science, technology, engineering, mathematics and/or targeted health professions. The center is home to multiple university and grant funded programs including the Health Careers Opportunity Program/Health Professions Pathways, CSU STEM Pathways Alliance, NIH Bridge to Doctorate, and NIH Research Training Initiative for Scientific Enhancement
TRIO Student Support Services Program (SSSP) provides undergraduates with academic support, financial aid literacy/education, and graduate school preparation support to ensure every individual’s successful retention and graduation.
SSSP is a federally funded TRIO grant program under the U.S. Department of Education that serves resilient first-generation students, students from low-income backgrounds, and students with a disability
SSSV is a federally funded TRIO grant program under the U.S. Department of Education that serves Veterans, Reservists, Active Duty, and National Guard who are first-generation students, students from low-income backgrounds, and students with a disability. Our program provides academic support services to assist undergraduate participants to remain in college and reach the goal of graduation.
TRIO Student Support Services - Disabilities (SSS-D) at is an undergraduate program that helps students with disabilities develop academic, professional, and personal skills necessary to successfully pursue and complete a college degree. Our program goals are to help undergraduate students with disabilities remain in college, stay in good academic standing, and reach the goal to graduate.
TRIO SSS-D is a federally funded TRIO grant program offered by the U.S. Department of Education. TRIO programs serve students who demonstrate academic need and either have a documented disability, are low-income, and/or are first-generation students.
The Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is designed to improve the access and retention of low-income and first-generation college students at Fresno State. EOP aims to support students who face historical, economic, or educational disadvantages. Our services focus on empowering students, building community, and ensuring college success.

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) is committed to providing access, orientation, academic, retention, personal, and financial assistance to entering freshman students from migrant or seasonal farmworker families. CAMP works with campus staff, faculty, student services, and the community to improve educational opportunities for CAMP students.
Outreach and Special Programs intends to collaborate with school districts and local community organizations to enhance the academic preparation and increase college awareness for our youth grades K-8.
