1. How can I apply for an account for Keck Cloudstack Cloud?

Please send your request to Dr. Brent Auernheimer at brent@csufresno.edu or to Gautam Bagaria at gautambagaria@mail.fresnostate.edu, indicating the following information:
a) Are you a student or faculty
b) Your personal Info: Name, Student ID and Department name
c) Your purpose of using Cloud resource
d) Any special resource requirement, including CPU, storage, memory and software.

 

2. How can I change my Cloudstack portal password?

Please send your request to Gautam Bagaria at gautambagaria@mail.fresnostate.edu. The current version of Cloudstack does not allow users change their passwords by themselves, Cloudstack portal password can only be changed by Admin.

 

3. Can I change the password of my instances?

Yes, you may change the password by yourself as long as the instance is created by your account.

 

4. How to create my instance?

5. How to connect to my instances?

You may either connect your instances from your web browser or Putty.
a) To connect an instance from the Cloudstack web portal, please follow the steps in the User Guide: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/csc/user-guides/connect.html
b) To connect an instance from Putty, please follow the steps in the User Guide: http://www.fresnostate.edu/csm/csc/user-guides/connect-putty.html
