Kelly D. Carrasco completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of
Texas at Austin. She received her Master of Education and Doctor of Philosophy in
School Psychology at the University of Florida. After finishing her degrees, Kelly
completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology
Graduate University in Okinawa, Japan, working in the Children's Research Center conducting
research on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). After leaving Japan,
Kelly became a Lecturer in Educational Psychology at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University
of Wellington in New Zealand, and she was the Programme Director for the Postgraduate
Diploma in Educational Psychology Practice.
In August 2023, Kelly joined Fresno State as an Assistant Professor in School Psychology.
She is a licensed psychologist (Hawaii), credentialed as a Health Service Psychologist
(NR), and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP).
