Dr. Farin Bakhtiari received her Ph.D. in human development and family sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. In her research lab, she investigates individual characteristics (e.g., ethnicity, immigration status) and contextual factors (e.g., socioeconomic status, family dynamics, peer relations, school context) related to adjustment, adaptation, and well-being of diverse adolescents and young adults.
