I received a degree in mathematics from the West University of Timisoara in Romania, and a PhD in Mathematics in 2007 from The University of Iowa. My dissertation, titled "An sl(2) tangle homology and seamed cobordisms," was under the guidance of Professor Charles Frohman. I have been a proud Fresno State bulldog since Fall 2007.
