Dr. Bikash Chandra Singh is an Assistant Professor and leads the Cybersecuirty & Secure
AI (CySAI) Lab in the Department of Computer Science at California State University,
Fresno. Before joining Fresno State, he served as a Research Assistant Professor in
the School of Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University (ODU) in Norfolk, Virginia,
USA. Prior to that, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at ODU.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Singh was an Associate Professor in the Department of Information
and Communication Technology at Islamic University, Bangladesh. From January 4, 2021,
to April 16, 2022, he also conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Electronics
and Information Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Dr. Singh earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Insubria, Italy.
His research interests include data privacy and security, machine learning, big data
analytics, federated learning, local differential privacy, privacy-aware large language
models (LLMs), 5G systems, cybersecurity in supply chains, and distributed networks—with
a particular emphasis on blockchain technology.
