- What is a "Summer Experience"
- It's an early start program, which is a "High Impact Practice" designed to uniquely support first-year, incoming CSM students.
- When is it?
- The summer experience is an in-person, daylong event, starting at 8:30am in Science 2, Room 109 scheduled either on Thursday, August 20th or Friday, August 21st (depending on the class section you are enrolled in - see above), which precedes the Saturday, August 22nd Family Partnership and Monday, August 24th first day of classes. Students are encouraged to take free mass transit, and for those driving, parking lot P6 is directly next to the Science 2 building.
- Do I have to attend?
- Yes, the experience is required for all first-year, incoming Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Mathematics, and Physics majors.
- Still have questions? Contact Jessica Bustos (jessicabustos@mail.fresnostate.edu) or Beth Weinman (bweinman@mail.fresnostate.edu) for additional information.
