For Facilitators (Run a Booth)

We welcome Fresno State Faculty/Staff/Students and Community Members to run and lead a booth at the Maker Faire. Ideally, the booth will feature a creative activity that allows visitors of all ages to make something! You might also consider doing a STEM demonstration, showcasing creative STEM projects, or leading a workshop to teach a skill (e.g., soldering, programming, 3D-printing). The possibilities are endless!!

Maker Faire

Originally started by Make Magazine, Maker Faires are public gatherings that support engagement in making and creativity. Sharing roots with makerspaces, hackerspaces, arts and crafts, as well as robotics and coding, Maker Faires are designed to share the excitement of making and STEM with the public. Maker Faires typically have interactive stations to make projects, fun demonstrations, and workshops to learn skills.
