ACM Student Chapter at Fresno State University
Student chapters of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS) are active in the department. They organize field trips to major computer manufacturers and users in California. The ACM chapter sponsors the fall Programming Contest. Follow the following link for more information.

Upslon Pi Epsilon
Upsilon Pi Epsilon is the first and only international honor society for the computing sciences. UPE is recognized and endorsed by both the ACM and the IEEE-CS.
Computer Science majors who have a distinguished academic record in computer science are invited to join Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the Honor Society for the Computer Sciences.
