About Us
Our History
Since 2009, Applied Behavior Analysis Services at Fresno State (ABA@FS) has provided
targeted interventions for individuals from age 18 months through adulthood with Autism
Spectrum Disorders and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. ABA@FS
works closely with the Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) and is also contracted
with many school districts, day programs, and residential facilities in the area.
We also work with numerous Medi-Cal and commercial insurance funding sources.
Our Mission
Our mission at ABA@FS is to enhance the independence, happiness, socialization, and
overall quality of life for individuals and their families by reducing barriers to
learning, teaching effective communication strategies, practicing relaxation techniques,
and promoting independent, functional living skills that align with each person's
values and goals. We work hard to ensure that our clients voices are heard, valued,
and respected throughout services by incorporating their input and consent across
all intervention goals and protocols. Our organization firmly believes that a diverse
and inclusive environment is vital to our growth and success – we recognize the dignity
and worth of every person and actively work to ensure our services are free from discrimination,
coercion, and harassment.
Our Distinction
The leadership at ABA@FS are all full-time faculty in the Department of Psychology
at Fresno State. ABA@FS provides practicum placements for graduate students in the
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Master’s program at Fresno State and our Board Certified
Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) provide ongoing supervision in compliance with Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards to students who are working towards their Master’s degree.

Dr. Marianne Jackson, M.A., BCBA-D

Dr. Jackson received her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Psychology (with an emphasis
in Behavior Analysis) from the University of Nevada Reno. She is currently a Professor
of Psychology at California State University, Fresno where she serves as the director
of the Master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis and as the clinical director
of ABA Services at Fresno State. She has been a practitioner in the field of ABA since
the late 1990s and enjoys working with individuals of all ages. Her research interests
include teaching complex social skills, including humor, perspective-taking, and safety
skills, the motivational functions of verbal behavior, and interventions to increase
health and fitness behaviors. Dr. Jackson has served on the ABAI executive council,
the CalABA Board of Directors, and as an advisor to the Cambridge Center for Behavioral
Studies. In 2011, she was selected as the Psi Chi Faculty of the Year; in 2014, she
was named one of the Provost’s Outstanding New Faculty; and in 2017, she received
a Distinguished Faculty Service award from the College of Science and Mathematics.
While at Fresno State, she has secured grants and contracts totaling over $6 million.
She has provided teaching, training, and clinical services in Scotland, Ireland, Jordan,
Bosnia, and Georgia, publishes in a variety of behavior analytic journals, and presents
regularly at state and national conferences.

In 2010, Jonpaul Moschella (a.k.a., Jp), earned his Master's degree from CSU, Fresno
in psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Upon graduating,
he accepted a position as lecturer in the ABA program in the Psychology Department
at Fresno State. In 2013, he began a clinical and administrative position with what
is now ABA Services at Fresno State. Jp currently serves as the ABA Services Operations
Director. In this capacity, he oversees the financial, administrative, and performance
management aspects of the organization. His primary role at ABA Services at Fresno
State is to ensure that the organization functions efficiently and effectively while
providing high quality ABA services at Fresno State for individual clients and ensuring
that ABA Services at Fresno State staff receive exceptional training in ABA. Under
Jp's direction, ABA Services at Fresno State has become a stable and thriving organization,
meeting its operational and financial obligations, while contributing to the training
of graduate students and the vitality of the College of Science and Mathematics.

Natalie Longhat, B.A.

Natalie Longhat began her journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2017 while
learning about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She completed an ABA course that same
year, leading her to pursue a career supporting children with ASD and related neurological
conditions. In 2018, she became a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
Natalie earned her B.A. in Psychology from Fresno State in 2022 and was accepted into
the university's M.A. program in ABA. She joined ABA Services at Fresno State as
a clinical staff member and later transitioned into administrative roles. She has
experience working in both clinical and in-home settings across the Central Valley.
Now serving as Office Manager at ABA Services, Natalie plays a key role in ensuring
efficient operations and supporting both staff and families. She is currently finalizing
her master's thesis and remains committed to delivering high-quality ABA services
while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Erin Chrysafis, M.A., BCBA

Erin has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2016 and became
a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2020. She received her undergraduate degree
from the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland and furthered her education
by graduating with a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis from California State University,
Fresno in 2019. After delivering center-based services in the Central Valley from
2020 to 2021, Erin returned to ABA Services at Fresno State in 2021 where she provides
board-level supervision to aspiring behavior analysts. She has expertise in working
with small children in an Early Intervention setting as well as managing severe problem
behaviors.

Jamie Micheli, M.A., BCBA

Jamie obtained a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in biological
Anthropology in 2019 at California State University, Fresno. His interest and appreciation
for human behavior grew, which eventually led him to the field of applied behavior
analysis. He completed his Masters of Art in Applied Behavior Analysis from California
State University, Fresno, in 2022. As a board certified behavior analyst, he has provided
ABA services in an elementary school setting, worked in a clinic creating comprehensive
behavior change programs for young children on the autism spectrum, and assisted caregivers
in implementing ABA strategies in their home environment. During this time, Jamie
has also served as adjunct faculty for California State University, Fresno, in the
Psychology department teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. Jamie currently
provides supervision for students in the ABA graduate program and clinical supervision
for a wide variety of clients that the program serves.

Ruben Guajardo, M.A., BCBA

Ruben received his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in general business
in 2021 at California State University, Fresno. During his undergraduate studies,
he took various psychology courses across multiple domains. He became particularly
fascinated by the science and application of applied behavior analysis (ABA), which
led him to become a research assistant in a behavior lab that aligned closely with
both his research interests (Organizational Behavior Management and Healthy Eating)
and to complete a research project through the Psychology Department's Honors Program.
Immediately upon completing his undergraduate studies, Ruben was accepted into the
ABA Program at Fresno State, where he earned his Master of Arts in ABA with Distinction
in 2024. After completing his graduate studies, he worked in the education field as
a K-12 substitute teacher, preparing for the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
examination. During this time, he provided instruction across various topics and employed
classroom management strategies. After becoming certified as a BCBA, Ruben returned
to ABA services at Fresno State, where he completed his internship supervision hours
and now provides behavior analytic services to clients while providing board-level
supervision to graduate students who have followed a similar path.
