Eligibility Requirements
- Motivated and focused towards obtaining a Ph.D after graduation
- Fresno State declared STEM major
- Interested in scientific research
- Minimum 60 units college coursework completed
- Must have 3-5 semesters remaining until expected graduation
- Completed online application with uploaded CV/Resume, short essays highlighting:
- Previous research experience, if applicable
- Grade discrepancies explanation, if applicable
- Education and career goals
- US citizenship or permanent resident
- Belong to an underrepresented group as defined by NIH
